I am a sustainable design facilitator, consultant, trainer, educator, writer and activist offering a range of services for academia, the social enterprise sector and industry. My holistic approach to Co-design for Sustainability Transition ensures everyone can connect with the subject and see the opportunities that emerge for socio-eco innovation.
I also have extensive experience through my career as a consultant across a variety of sectors (not just the design industry). As a writer I have explored eco-design, sustainable design, slow design, co-design, eco-tourism, and design activism.

Co-design workshop facilitator
I offer my own co-design workshops on key sustainability issues (see Co-design4… Workshops) but I also create bespoke co-design workshops for businesses, social enterprises, community interest companies, design partnerships and agencies, and design education organisations (Higher Education, Further Education and private institutions). Consultant & project management
I have experience in project management in sustainable design education (2000s), digital photography management (1990s), and for landscape design & build (1980s). I managed the DEEDS project funded by the EU Leonardo da Vinci programme, between Nov 2006 and June 2008, on behalf of the International Centre for Innovation & Sustainability (ICIS), Denmark. I am comfortable working with commercial and social enterprises, from SMEs to multi-nationals, as well as public sector organisations.
Educator & trainer
I lecture at Universities and Higher Education facilities in the UK, within the European Union, and internationally. I also run Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training days and workshops for design and other professionals. See some clients here.
I write extensively on eco-design, sustainable design, slow design, co-design, eco-tourism and design activism. See publications. I have written for professional journals, newspapers, magazines and e-zines. I am also experienced at writing project proposals, management plans, reports, marketing & business plans.
